Six retired people discuss their individual and fairly recent experiences of bereavement. Highlights the unique circumstances facing older people, including changes in lifestyle, socio-economic positions, roles, expectations and the complications that can arise. The overall aim is to show death and bereavement from an older person’s viewpoint, based on their life experiences.
