Featuring remarkable achievements from athletes the like of; Betty Cithbert, Australai’s “Golden Girl” who was only 18 when she smashed the Olympic record for the 100m dashand took home three gold medals; Dawn Fraser, the first Olympic swimmer of either sex to win the same event three times; Raelene Boyle, the super sprinter twice runner-up in the 200m track event, beaten by world record wins each time,; and Jack Lovelock who scored an incredible victory in one of the most hotly contested 1500m finals in Olympic history.
