Highlights the most frequent subject of photographers past and present, the family portrait. Provides a history of family portraiture, including daguerreotypes and wet-plate photography, as well as the development of Kodak roll-film cameras. Includes interviews with leading contemporary photographers who specialise in family portraiture.
