A dramatic contemporary love story of an aspiring young writer from the country and an urban woman struggling against the guilt of her first sexual experiences. They become involved with each other, their pasts and a frightening narrow world that is dominated by a charismatic young First Nations man who is driven by a contempt for life and a fierce hatred of white Australian society.
