Lucille Ball’s last film, “Mame” is a fantasy romp through the twenties: a time of Prohibition, the Depression and Grand Tours of the world on luxury liners. “Mame” is a musical feast featuring such songs as “My Best Girl” and “We Need a Little Christmas.” Auntie Mame is a larger than life character who parties her way through life in the charge of her orphaned nephew. Based on the award winning Broadway musical.
