Terry Laidler presents the second in a series of interactive seminars linking a Statewide panel via satellite to 25 rural centres. The Victorian Premier’s Drug Advisory Council report forms the basis of discussion surrounding the issue of youth drug use in Victoria. The panel includes The Hon. Denis Napthine, Minister, Youth & Community Services, Professor Greg Whelan, Alcohol and Drug Unit, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Robert Bellhouse, a writer of drug education material for use in schools and Peter Wearne, director of Theos Youth Centre (St. Kilda) with 20 years experience working with young people in crisis. During the seminar, the panel fields questions from studio participants, by fax and telephone.
