Margot Fonteyn is one of the most loved ballerinas of all time. This documentary, made on the eve of her seventieth birthday is an intimate exploration of both her professional and personal life. The four most significant figures in her career, Ninette de Valois, Frederick Ashton, Robert Helpmann and Rudolf Nureyev contribute their memories. Filmed at her home in Panama, the program features excerpts from some of her greatest roles.
