A close-up look at blood using electronmicroscopy and animation to explain its structure and function. The healing of wounds, defending the body from infection and transporting oygen, food, hormones and waste products for the cells in the body are the key functions of blood. Also explains blood groups and what happens in blood transfusions. Useful for middle secondary level biology.
