The ‘World book multimedia encyclopedia’ is an excellent educational resource featuring hundreds of multimedia elements in the form of still pictures, video and sound. There are interactive simulations to help reinforce concepts, research organiser features such as sticky notes, time frame search function, virtual reality animations and a dictionary and atlas. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: ‘Microsoft Windows 95 or Windows 3.1’ or higher; 486SX/25MHz IBM or compatible PC; minimum 8MB RAM, (16MB RAM recommended); 22 MB free hard disk space in ‘Windows 95’; 16 MB in ‘Windows 3.1’; SVGA 256 colours monitor; 16 bit sound card; CD-ROM drive. Please note that the CD-ROM requires a key number to be entered at installation. This number can be found on the label attached to the disc cover.
