World renowned star photographer David Maitland of the Anglo-Australian Observatory, along with others reveal the universe in brilliant colour. The evolution of a star in a gaseous nebulae through to the final stages of its life as a white dwarf, supernova, pulsar or black hole. Additional sequences trace the history of astronomy and the development of optical and radio telescopes. This CD provides excellent information for teaching about Astronomy in the classroom.
