A young Jodie Foster stars as Annabel Andrews, a precocious 13 year old who experiences a Friday unlike any other. Annabel and her mother simultaneously switch identities. While Annabel’s mother struggles through her daughter’s typing exam, band practice and unusual eating habits, Annabel is faced with running the household and looking after her younger brother. Both discover the other’s life is not as easy as they first imagined and things change for the better when they regain their own identities. Based on the book by Mary Rodgers. Cast includes Barbara Harris, John Astin, Patsy kelly, Dick Van patten, Vicki Schreck.
