This video focuses on the unique qualities of each instrument from it’s creation by the manufacturer to the musician who skilfully channels its sound. Narration by conductor Andrew Davis and interviews with world-acclaimed musicians, such as Yo-Yo Ma, provide insight and flavour to describe the instruments and their role in the sound of the orchestra. Suitable for Primary and Secondary level students.
