Central Park, New York, inhabited nightly by muggers, rapists and killers, becomes the unlikely venue for two recently orphaned children, Jay Jay and Laurie to find a home. They do however, with Jay Jay proclaiming himself ‘The Prince of Central Park’. Into their world enters a lonely widow (Ruth Gordon), who is eager to share their sense of family and belonging. Based on the novel by Evan Rhodes.
