This is a video which focusses on the life experiences of refugee young people in australia. The video is divided into two sections: Section one explores the refugee experience from the perspective of 5 young who have resettled in Australia from the countries of El Salvador, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Cambodia and Eritrea. It is relevant to both workers and young people. Section two explores issues for service providers and contains interviews with experienced workers with refugee young people. The video can be used in education and training of both young people and professionals working with refugee young people. Includes video training notes.
