Secret Service Agent, Frank Horrigan (Clint Eastwood) is forced into a test of wills by master assassin (John Malkovich) in a fight to save the president. It is an all too familiar situation for Horrigan who was present when Kennedy was shot and is haunted by the possibility that he could have saved his life. Assigned to protect the current president, the assassin tests Horrigan to see whether given the second chance he will risk his life to save the president. Also starring Rene Russo, Dylan McDermott, Fred Dalton Thompson and John Mahoney.
