Describes courses at the two “Outward Bound” schools where boys from all walks of life are provided with character training. At Aberdovey on the coast of Wales, four weeks training is given to young boys bound for the Merchant Navy. At the school in Eskdale, Cumberland, special attention is given to the skills necessary in mountain climbing and life-saving.
