Scenes from the Australian high country and the recogniseable voice of Leonard Teale bring sixteen of Banjo Paterson’s stories to life. Included on this tape are; “Clancy of the overflow”, “The Man from Ironbark”, “Waltzing Matilda”, “Santa in the bush”, “Swagman’s rest”, “Mulga Bill’s bicycle”, “The Melting of the snow”, “The Man from Snowy River”, “The Road to Gundagai”, “Ghost of the murderer’s hut”, “The Pearl diver”, “The Geebung polo club”, “In re a gentleman one”, “The Amateur rider”, A Mountain station”, and “The Bush christening”. There are short interludes between each story to allow discussion, as a well as a brief introduction about Banjo Paterson before the stories are recounted.
