In 1974 Californian newspaper heiress Patty Hearst (Natasha Richardson), was kidnapped and allegedly brainwashed by terrorists from the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA). She caused public scandal when she rejected the offer for freedom after 57 days of being confined in a closet and becoming a successful bank robbing urban guerilla. Also starring William Forsythe, Ving Rhames and Frances Fisher. Based on the book “Every secret thing” by Patricia Campbell Hearst and Alvin Moscow.
