Normandy has an exciting past of conquest and liberation and is now a popular holiday destination. This tape takes in sights such as; the port of Dieppe, Mont St Michel, a cruise down the River Seine to the city of Rouen, Monet’s gardens at Giverny, the streets of Bayeaux, the countryside surrounding the Suisse Normande, the harbour at Honfleur, and on a more historical note visit the D-Day landing beaches and Caen, where William the Conqueror lies entombed.
