Australia’s Christmas is not the traditional day of snow and ice, but a warm sweltering day in mid-summer. This film shows typical scenes of Christmas celebrations in 1950’s Australia, from the busy shops and streets of the cities, to small churches of rural country towns, even a festive feast at the beach.
