Shows the part played by Britain in making her colonies, particularly those in Africa, technically and economically ready for self-government. Illustrates how the Colonial Office is taking measures in Africa to fight disease, plague and ignorance, how the valuable resources of the colonies are being surveyed and how the necessary technical equipment is being supplied to develop these resources for the benefit of the peoples of the area.
