Filmed at Ernabella Mission Station in the Musgrave Ranges, 1000 miles north of Adelaide, in the early years of its operation.
Ernabella Mission was opened in 1937 by the Presbyterian church; its administration was transferred to the South Australian government in 1970 and in 1974 to the community itself, through the Pitjantjatjara Council. Now known as Pukatja the community is part of the APY Lands.
Narrated by J.J. Hume.
