Episode number 3 of Series “Famous women of the past”.
Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, friend and lover of Caesar, Roman Emperor. He is murdered, but she has a son, Caesarion. She is determined to have Caesar’s nephew, Octavian, (Emperor of Rome), removed and Caesarean in his place. To help the process she tries to befriend Mark Antony, the great Roman warrior. Antony succumbs to Cleopatra, and their relationship becomes unbreakable. Antony declares war on Rome to bring Caesarion to the throne - but after ten years of war, does not succeed, and their tragic deaths soon follow.
