One of the most common and widely known insects is the grasshopper. Its body structure is show as exemplifying the basic characteristics that identify insects and its life cycle is studied as typical of those insects who go through a process of incomplete metamorphosis. The need for controlling the grasshopper’s destructiveness is also shown.
