This video is an instructional and entertaining look at the different types of sign language which exist around the world. It explains the development of Auslan - Australian Sign Language - in Australia, why there are variations in signing between states and countries and generations, the grammatical differences between Auslan and English, and a basic introduction to Auslan. The video is presented with a voiceover and subtitles for the hearing impaired.
