Opening with a series of incidents in which girls are rebuked for poor posture, the film presents examples of good habits which are juxtaposed against bad ones. The film suggests that women can improve their posture by observing movie stars and other well poised role models. Stresses the importance of maintaining a healthy mental attitude to appearance, by devoting regular time to practicing good posture, until it become effortless and automatic. Shows how to sit down and how to stand up with particular attention to leg, arm and head positions. An essential guide for any women, or man, aspiring to ladylike poise and grace.
