Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds form the backcloth of this travelogue. After exploring the history of the university city of Oxford, the film moves to Stratford-upon-Avon where sequences include an excerpt from a production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, and a visit to Anne Hathaway’s cottage. Music composed and conducted by Muir Mathieson.
