A romantic comedy starring John Belushi as a Chicago reporter who becomes a Mafia target following his series of articles exposing corruption. Hoping to alleviate the situation, his editor sends him on an assignment to a remote location in the Rocky Mountains to write a feature story on a reclusive researcher (Blair Brown) studying the endangered American bald eagle. Initially reluctant, she lets Belushi stay and despite radical differences their mutual attraction gradually draws them together.
