John Hughes’ romantic comedy of yuppie angst stars Kevin Bacon and Elizabeth McGovern as Jake and Kristi Briggs. Jake, after falling in love with Kristi at first sight, is beginning to have second thoughts about ending his single life as he is walking down the aisle on their wedding day. A year later their dreams of a perfect life in a perfect house have turned into a series of hilarious marital nightmares. Kristi has just received news that really ought to make things interesting - she’s pregnant.
