Television documentary series in five episodes presented and narrated by Mike Willesee looking at the traditional lifestyles and rituals of various African tribes. Ep. 1 focuses on the Hamar and Karo tribes. Ep. 2 follows the Wodaabe and Tureg people, nomadic tribes of the Sahara Desert. In Ep. 3 men from the Mursi tribe prepare for a traditional fighting ritual. Ep. 4 looks at a traditional tribal marriage. Dinka men prepare for an eating contest in Ep. 5. Ep. 6 is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the series.
