A review of Hong Kong showing many aspects of life in the great city as seen through the eyes of a ‘household god’ who comes to life. He reports to the gods on what his family has achieved in the previous year, in the fields of education, housing and medicine, and in the making of all the fine things of the old world and all those of the new world.
