A training film for WWII servicemen showing basic survival techniques for the jungle. Four crash survivors demonstrate how to survive in the jungle by trapping and fishing, cooking and sheltering from the wet. To reinforce the message, a lone airman shows how to do the wrong things. Van Heflin appears as one of the airmen.
