Consumer and Corporate Affairs Canada is a federal government agency concerned with protecting the interests of the consumer in today’s complex and highly competitive marketplace. Whatever is sold commercially —eggs, home furnishings, construction helmets, heating and cooking fuels — comes under its scrutiny. This film describes the whole range of checks and investigations carried out by the Department.
