Australian Newsreel consisting of the following segments: AMAZING SPORTSMANSHIP shows John Landy lending a hand to fellow Australian Ron Clarke during the 1956 Olympic one mile race. Landy recovered the time he lost assisting his team mate and went on to win the race. RAMAZAN shows males from Sydney’s Muslim community ending their month of fasting. MUM THE DENTIST’S HERE records a dentist’s visit to rural Australia. 714 LBS OF MUSCLE AND BRAWN captures the exciting wrestling match between King Kong Ko and Koroshenko. TOUGH BUT NOT DANGEROUS and 6,500 MILE TOUR STARTS follows the Redex Car Rally around Australia captured on film by Cinesound’s Film Unit cameraman Lloyd Shiels.
