Demonstrates the correct methods of making masters for duplicating machine use, correcting mistakes on a stencil, the use of the illuminated drawing board for tracing lines, making hectograph masters, correcting mistakes when using hectograph ribbon, or carbon, use of electromatic hectograph machine, use of various types of duplicating machines, and typing manuscripts with footnotes. Centering on a typewriter improving characters or marks that do not appear on the keyboard, and reading proof readers’ marks are also explained.
