Brief but remarkable thorough document of the life of an ocean liner. Presents footage of ship construction in the shipyards and launching of the ship. Then goes into a description, using animated cross-sections, of the layout - cargo holds, fuel tanks, crew quarters, passenger quarters. Shows inspection of the crew prior to departure, life on board and the liner arriving at its destination.
