A recruiting film of general interest, People Like You introduces its audience to members of the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves, who serve as a volunteer force both at home and abroad. They engage in a variety of activities, such as providing civilian rescue services, patrolling the environment, evacuating the sick, and other public assistance functions.
