Documentary film on the Olympic Winter Games in Cortina in the Italian Alps, 1956. Sets the panoramic views of Cortina and the venues where the 1956 Winter games will be held whilst highlighting the previous 1952 Oslo Winter games with footage of specific events. Also includes footage of Melbourne in 1956 featuring the Melbourne Cricket Ground and St Kilda Town Hall and images of the 1952 Summer games in Helsinki. Narrated by Fred Hessler.
