Birthday banquet for old friend Dutch filmmaker John Ibens celebrates his 81st birthday through the Chinese Ministry Culture. “Ping Pong at the seashore” A training seminar for up coming ping-pong championships. “New job opportunities for urban youth” 1200 workers have been employed at the news sheet factory in Shanghai. “New method for processing metals” A new way of processing metals through controlled explosion. “Lashau Botanical Garden” A garden laboratory that looks at the study of new plant life and the domestication of wild plants. More than 3400 plants are cultivated at the Lashau garden.
