In this, the sixth animated Asterix feature, Asterix, Obelix and their faithful canine Dogmatix are left alone to defend their village against the Romans after the rest of the villagers have fled from a terrible thunderstorm. Unfortunately for them the druid Getafix has lost his memory after being accidently knocked unconscious with a menhir by Obelix and is unable to remember the formula for the potion that gives Asterix the superhuman strength he relies on to defeat the Romans. Based on the popular books by Goscinny and Underzo.
