A compilation of silent newsreels including: 1. Wonderful Lake Taupo and trout fishing. 2. North Island - Rotorua, geyserland, a volcano and skiing. Boating on the Wanganui River. 3. Perth, WA - Re-enactment of Fremantle and Stirling proclaiming Western Australian colony in 1829. Winter surfing at Cottesloe and country scenes. 4. The Empire Games in Sydney 1938 - track and field, swimming and diving, and rowing on the Nepean River.
