An endearing story told through the eyes of 10 year old Caroline. Caroline loves her pet rabbit, Pitou, but her parents are ashamed and concerned to learn that Pitou is attracted to rabbits of the same sex. Their resolution to the ‘perceived’ crisis creates turmoil in their relationship with their daughter as Caroline marks out her own revenge and sets the scene for a wonderfully insightful and intelligent lesson to be learnt for her parents.
