Mabo: the native title revolution

An extensive multimedia resource that explores a pivotal moment in Australian history—the landmark Mabo legal case in which the High Court acknowledged the claim of Aboriginal Australians to native title. Combining 2 CD ROM’s with a website and online database, the project brings together a documentary video with hundreds of specially created audio-visual sequences and a wealth of text and images covering issues from colonisation and indigenous culture to land rights and native title. Suitable for senior secondary, undergraduate and research at adult levels. A website has been created as part of this project containing updates, additional material, technical information and links to other related sites.
