Max Fisher (Jason Schwartzman) is a highly eccentric 10th grade student at Rushmore Academy whose life is altered when he meets and falls in love with the elegant Miss Cross (Olivia Williams), a recently widowed first grade teacher. Max finds himself caught in a strange love triangle when his close friend Mr. Blume (Bill Murray), a wealthy steel tycoon also falls for Miss Cross. Written by Wes Anderson and Owen Wilson, this films addresses the intricate relationships that evolve between students, teachers, friends and family. Cast also includes Seymour Cassel. Brian Cox.
