Based on the book by Itah Sadu who also narrates the film. “Lights for Gita” (prod. Tamara Lynch ; dir. Michel Vo ; animator, Gregory Houston); A young girl is excited about celebrating Divali, an old Indian festival that fills the dark with the light. Her excitement soon ends because of a storm. Based on the book by Rachna Gilmore. “The Magic of Anansi” (prod. Tamara Lynch ; dir., animator, Jamie Mason ; animator, Luigi Allemano); Anansi a spider living in the jungle doesn’t think the other animals respected him so he sets out to gain the respect he deserves. Based on a West Indian tale and narrated by Winston Sutton. “From far away” (prod. Michael Fukushima ; dir., animators, Shira Avni, Serene El-Haj Daoud); A little girl tries to fit into a new school in a new country. Based on the book by Robert Munsch and Saoussan Askar. “CHRISTOPHER: please clean up your room!” (prod. Tamara Lynch ; dir., animator, Vincent Gauthier ; animator, Jo Meuris); A young boy manages to scare his family and friends with his messy room. This soon changes thanks to a few friends. Based on the book by Itah Sadu who also narrates the film.
