This series from the American Film Institute (AFI) salutes some of the biggest stars that helped shape the face of Hollywood as we know it today. Henry Fonda is attributed as acting in more than 93 films, over 100 television appearances and 72 stage plays. To celebrate the life and work of actor Henry Fonda, the AFI in this presentation uses footage from over 40 films with introductions from some of Fonda’s celebrated colleagues: Jane Alexander, Lucille Ball, Richard Britton, Gregory Peck, James Stewart, Bette Davis, Kirk Douglas, Jane Fonda, Peter Fonda, Jack Lemmon , James Garner, Charlton Heston, Ron Howard and Lillian Gish.
