This is a live recording for television of Pavarotti’s concert performance in Beijing on June 24th 1986. This world renowned Italian singer once again presents a magnificent performance to an enthusiastic and appreciative audience, mixing popular Italian songs along with excerpts from some of the best known operas. Pavarotti is superbly supported by the Orchestra and Chorus of the Municipal Opera of Genoa with Dante Ghersi as choir master and Emerson Buckley as the conductor. Sung in Italian.
