High budget supernatural thriller that sees Joe Hobbs (Denzel Washington) witness the execution of a serial killer. Things take a menacing turn when identical murders take place. It appears that a demon is passing through humans possessing them thus enabling the killer to continue with his murdering. Taunting the detective a twist at the end keeps the drama gripping. Police drama meets supernatural thriller. Cast includes John Goodman, Donald Sutherland and James Gandolfini.
