Documentary made for television portraying a year in the life of one of the greatest opera singers of our time, Placido Domingo. This charming and charismatic performer takes us on a journey around the world from the major opera houses such as the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and La Scala Milan, to the Metropolitan Opera House in New York. He also manages to include appearances on television shows with Carol Burnett in Los Angeles and Charles Aznavour in Paris. The film includes excerpts from his performances in Tosca, The Tales of Hoffmann, Ernani, Otello, La fanciulla del West, Manon Lescaut and the Zeffirelli film of La Traviata. Also features Dame Kiri te Kanawa in Die Fledermaus.
