Biographical film on the life of one of the world’s greatest composers, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, born in 1756 in Salzburg, Austria. The brilliance and genius of Mozart is still appreciated and interpreted today by musicians worldwide. Features the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra in this specially staged concert program, conducted by Ralph Weikert and distinguished broadcaster and musicologist Antony Hopkins who provides an introduction to each concert piece, including a brief account of Mozart’s life from childhood to adulthood.
